Description
The GIANNA cardigan is knitted from the top down, in one piece and seamless. After a few short rows to shape the neckline, the yoke is worked using yoke-style increases, gradually forming the upper body and
sleeves, while placing the mosaic colorwork pattern. At the end of the yoke, the sleeves are put on hold, and the body is knitted while incorporating the pocket openings. The bottom of the cardigan is finished with rib 1×1 in combination knitting, also used for the cuffs. The button band, wide and structured, is worked in double knitting. The folded collar, in rib 1×1, is knitted after picking up stitches around the neckline. The pockets, then the sleeves, are then resumed and knitted in the round, with or without colorwork pattern. The work is finished by sewing on the buttons.
Warm and cozy, Gianna is a true comfort cardigan that combines tradition and modernity.
