FLORE (EN)

Description

FLORE is a warm and feminine sweater, knitted from top down, in-the-round and seamless. You start with the collar, which is folded inwards to double it and to give the sweater hold. It has a yoke construction with several evenly spaced rounds of increases. After the sleeve stitches have been put on hold, the body is knitted straight in-the-round and finished with pretty cables that give it a puffy effect. The sleeves are also knitted straight in-the-round (except for the larger sizes) with a row of decreases before the cuffs. Once the sweater is finished, you embroider small flowers as you please.
FLORE is a sweater of rather cropped cut which emphasizes the waist thanks to the puffing effect. However, I also offer an alternative for a straighter cut in the pattern.

Finished garment’s bust circumference with 9 to 16 cm ease is 82, 92 (103, 115, 125) (135, 147, 158) 171 cm or 32.25, 36.25 (40.5, 45.25, 49.25) (53.25, 57.75, 62.25) 67.25 in.

75% Bluefaced Leicester, 25% Mid Brown Masham
100gr = 240m

72% Mohair, 28% Silk

Approximative meterage for both yarns :

Circular needles : 4mm/6US and 3.5mm/4US both with an 80-100cm/30-40in cable.
(+ double pointed needles of both sizes if you use them)

Notions : 2 different stitch markers, 2 spare cables to put the sleeve’s stitches on hold, cable needle, tapestry needle, scissors.

In stockinette stitch, worked flat on 4mm needles (measured after blocking):
